This is a job that we completed that employed CNC Milling, CNC Wire EDMing, and CNC Sinker EDMing.





This job started out one solid chunk of aluminum. The piece was squared and some pockets and holes were put in on a Matsuura 600VF vertical machining center. The outside shape was then cut overnight on a Mitsubishi DWC-110SA Wire EDM. The part then went back to the Matsuura MC-500-VS (red machine in images above) for some more holes and pockets. The last operations were done in one setup on a Mitsubishi EX-8 4axis CNC Sinker EDM (Sinker in images above)
