This is a job that we completed that employed manual Milling, CNC Wire EDMing, and Small Hole
EDM drilling.
This Job was started with a Bridgeport milling machine. The two blanks were squared up and all pilot
holes and tapped holes were drilled. The blanks were then heat treated and sent to the
EDM Department
. Then the seemingly simple looking blanks were transformed into 6 high precision
parts in two WIRE EDM opperations on a Mitsubishi DWC 110SA followed by more pilot holes being drilled on the Current EDM ST300 Small
Hole EDM Drill and finished up with one last WIRE EDM opperation on the Mitsubishi FX10. These parts are for one of our inhouse products the Swage Shuttle
